Updated Statement Of Intent

Product 1
My magazines are called Fierce which for me , it’s a term used in fashion for cool, sexy, awesome, or any other positive remark about something.Fierce establishes the intention of informing bright young girls from the ages 16- 25 year olds to being occupied with doing things that they want to do without having to be bothered on what other people would say and to simply be yourself.
There are two magazines with different set ups and locations. For my magazines front/content pages i will use media language to create a brand identity for a culturally sophisticated, 16-25 class AB demographic, this will reflect the industry context by Bauer Media.I hoping my magazines are adapted to fulfil Bauer Media's needs to remain the number one conglomerate in publishing. In order to do this , for my first magazine cover , it features a more of a seductive young girl which has been photographed under a studio setup I used coloured gel lights to create the red tint to the model and background for a pop of colour which is not something you don’t see in magazines everyday. I wanted to distinguish  myself from the rest and the old natural colours. My main image will be of a model that will represent the type of audience the magazine will be targeted at which are teen/adult girls .The cover will be centred and a close up shot which makes the audience only focus on the girl . This is followed by a plain light wine background which has nothing which again , it doesn’t take the focus out of the subject. My first front cover will be of a teenage girl age 17 which represent the youth and the young fashion industry. The layout of the magazine will have an “L” format because usually the audience always reads from the left to right. The magazine will have 3 colour scheme which is going to be red , burgundy and white which are rather more feminine colours which emphasises the type of content they will get out the magazine. The girl has a seductive expression on her face which may appeal to male audiences even though that not really the case until the reader picks up the magazine and reads her story .
For my second magazine cover , the front cover will also be a girl but it contains a different location which is set in a park against plants which represents nature and freedom. It follows the same type of conventions by having the girl in the center and up close, to focus on the model's face but in this one the model has more of a empowered women but also a soft feminine young girl.In this one the model is looking directly at the audience which is adopting a confident friendly mode of address which is both inspirational and relatable to the target audience who would want to see women presented in a powerful manner .In this one the colours are more softer by having pastel blues and pinks which very girly colours. The cover lines in this magazine is placed only in the left side.
The contents pages will include a a follow up picture from the shoot alongside typical features under  sections such as fashion, features , and hopefully stories which will including articles about relevant issues and tips that the target audience group will look for reader , wince it may apply to them .

My magazine will include fashion covers and stories , inspirational messages and creative clothing , beauty tips since its a women's magazine and finally news that hopefully relates to young girls and to disperse awareness in the women's community.

Product 2
For my online website I am going to follow the required media language codes and conventions which will be appropriate for my website design. These include the brand name Fierce  , so it’s clear for the audience to know that its linked to the magazine. The website will have a more of a high fashion magazine website touch by the background being white and edgy by the font, which means that it won’t have the same vibrant colours like the magazine so, its less distracting. I put the font in colour red because it just goes with the word fierce being bold and careless. It will also contain a menu bar which is will be located at the top of the website it will direct you to different pages depending on what you what to browser like fashion or inspirational advice.
My website for magazine will hopefully include other social network websites like Instagram and Twitter which are social sites that the 16-25 year olds are daily using. I want my audience to be weekly updated with inspirational quotes , news about women movements that all ethnicities can relate to and unbreakable fashion trends that audience may want to follow.  It will also have discount codes from different clothing stores that the audience will weekly vote on the site , so I would be able to know what stores young women prefer to shop at.

Intent
The term "digital convergence" means the ability to view the same multimedia content from different types devices and thanks to the digitisation of content) and the development of connections methods. The advantage of digital convergence is to create synergy, which is a consistent message across two platforms that reinforces messages to my target audience. This is a synergy because it involves my magazines and the website being linked together so the audience are able to enjoy either platform and get the same exciting experience.

How I am to make sure its a synergy is by having the same font so the audience are able to recognise the brand, and having the same content f the magazine to the web , but by applying more to the web since I would able to include videos ,which you can not get in a magazine. And as I said before , there will be a page which also directs the audience to social websites which they will get news about the updates and prices of the magazine.
